Night had fallen, and though it was late, Nynaeve couldn't sleep. She followed a small path torwards the Temple, having overheard someone else in the Inn she was staying mumble something about it being a sight worth seeing. Dirt started to make it's mark on the edges of the skirt of her hunter green dress, but she didn't even seem to notice or care. A dark brown cloak was draped over her, held together in the middle with one delicate hand, and a small breeze, chilled by the night, forced her to tighten it up a bit as she walked.
Soon she reached her destination, The Sayjinn Temple, and stared upwards with nothing short of awe. Deep pools of violet shined against the moonlight, and a small smile tugged at her lips. It was a sight to see, and she wondered if the interior was just as marvelous as the outside? She bit her lower lip, contemplating entering.. Was it wrong to go into such places at night? Did they even close? Were there rules regarding it?
She simply stared and stood outside, wondering about her next move, and giving little to no thought or mind to her outdoor surroundings. Anyone could sneak up on her..
Kotari had been inside the temple contemplating life and the Divine, the works of Sayjinn, the dream world. But she had spent the later part of the day inside, looking at the stained glass windows, just taking the time to relax more then pray or considering the truths of the world. Kotari walked passed numerous of columns that held up the high ceilings of the Temple. The sight of which reminded her of a stream of light breaking through the dark canopy of the forest. But these beams were very solid, and Kotari wouldn't like to stray into one of them.
At the main entrance, or exit for her now, she stopped and turned to examine the temple once more as she went to leave, pushing her hair back into a tight and neat bun, that wrapped her long brown hair into a small knot. Then she turned to leave, breaking through the doors with no notion of being quiet. The door she used was not far from Nynaeve, and Kotari raised a brow at the human standing before the temple in awe. "Your first time being here?"
As the doors swung open, Nynaeve stirred from her awestruck daze and jumped a few inches into the air, obviously startled by the sudden noise and movement ripping through the stillness of night. She didn't think she was going to run into anyone this late..
She shot a glance at the entrance and focused upon the questioning Angel who'd emerged. "Y..Yes," she stammered out through a small and slightly embarrassed smile, recovering from her little shock. "Forgive me, I didn't think anyone was still around."
"Nothing to forgive." At least from what she understood what was going on there was nothing to forgive, unless this human had been planning to do something entirely undesireable. Kotari raised an eyebrow. "There should be a few priests still inside. Other then them, and myself, you would be correct." She spoke very forwardly, no sweet tones in her voice, yet no harsh ones either. Though she looked fairly young, she was dressed very primly, as if she might be dressing to impress, and have people take her seriously.
She tilted her head to one side, bringing up a finger to her lips in thought for a moment as she eyed the other woman over. "You don't suppose.. "
She paused, and lowerered her hand, crossing both arms over her chest now. She reworded her question so that she sounded as naive as she was - not shady like she was coniving to do something to the Temple. After all, she was out relatively late at night and by herself.. "Is it.. appropriate.. to enter the Temple at night?"
Kotari raised a brow as if it were a ridiculous question. "When is it ever wrong to enter a public place? Only when you are loud and obnoxious. So, you understand what I am saying?" It wasn't that Kotari suspected such an idividual to be loud and rowdy, but she had to inform her, it was her dubty as a respectful citizen of Aethesurin.
"What... do you have in mind to be doing in there?" She asked, giving the situation a second thought. Was she planning on going around to bug the priests? Kotari would then have to deter her, because she was sure the Priests hated to be bothered, Kotari knew this from first hand experience.
