*I hope this helps. I might add on later.

To sum up this odd and complicated matter, it all starts with a consciousness, Sayjinn. It does not technically have a physical form, though it could fool you into thinking it does. This consciousness created many little things, images and thoughts, and eventually beings that too were not physical. It eventually created what the Angels now call the Divine. It had broken free from Sayjinn, which it was not happy about, Sayjinn felt the Divine was a reckless creation, and it went on to do more reckless things like create physical worlds of it’s own, one of them being Aethesurin. The Devine then went on to create such creatures as Angels and humans out of boredom, and then continued on, forgetting about it’s creation. Sayjinn, being able to only call to what was not physical, called to the souls of those on the world, the one thing that the Divine gave them that was not tangible. So, Sayjinn was able to communicate with the souls of those on Aethesurin, but only when they slept, when their souls are not so tightly bound to their bodies. It is also believed that when someone dies, their soul is lost from the body and is called to Sayjinn once more, and everything is united there.

This is pretty much the common understanding and remains undisputed. Almost every feels the Revsil’s Illen was a gift from the future realm of Faevo, a part of Sayjinn. While others felt it was just a dream sent to haunt and punish him. Normally, dreams aren’t to be remembered, only glimpses of them due to Sayjinn’s curious nature and the fact that the soul’s ability to retain information away from the body is limited, when it is still bound to the body by life. When severed by life it can again continue to learn, or when bound to a woken body it can learn.
