I think it is impossible to consciously choose who you are going to be. When we are young we all dream of being a hero, some one well known and loved by all. As we grow older we realize that it is not always possible to be liked by everyone, though it is still possible for us to be someone’s savoir.
Having the ability to follow what it is that you believe, no matter what it means you have to loose, is honorable. The choice of sacrificing your own wants and dreams for the future to battle what you see as wrong. It is, on rare occasion, an unfortunate case when it is hard to determine what is wrong. Every being tries their best to understand the difference between good and evil, but life isn’t that simple.
That is why we are here today. I will explain to you the story of a time when our land was dark, and how we as a race became divided. I will try to let you see how each person in the past had lived hoping to place our world, Aethesurin, into a state of peace.
